How to add/delete/edit a Product Category?

Categories 

Before adding your products  to sell, proper categorization of the products is required. This categorization can be done based on the product specifications, price, or any other criteria you want. 

Grouping the same kind of products helps you manage them smoothly and helps customers locate the products hassle-free.

1. Create a Category

1. Click on the products in the admin panel.

2. Navigate to "Categories" and click on the Create Category option.

3. Fill in the title and description of your category. You can add images by clicking on Add File.

4. Add a search engine snippet (title and description) for better SEO performance.

5. Click on the save button and your category is successfully created.

b) Edit a Category

You can use the edit category option to update the already created category.

1. Click on  Products and then navigate to the Categories.

2. Click on the category name you want to edit. Or you can click on the edit icon you see in "Action.".

3. Once the required changes are done, click on the update button.

c) Delete a Category

1. Click on Products and then navigate to the Categories.

2. Click on the delete button you see under "Action".

3. A pop-up will appear after clicking on the delete button.

4. If you want to delete a category, click on "Yes, "and the category will be deleted successfully, or click on the "Cancel" button.
